During our early school days at Zahira College, I am sure you all will remember Mr Tissa Weerasingha a deputy principal who showed a keen interest in developing the school. He was stil remembered for his discipline and the effort he took to keep the school campus green. I can't remember his office space as he was always found walking around the campus. Also his support to the principal and to the staff was something the school community always admired.

Mr Siddique got his own style, yet following the foot step of a deputy principal who had proved as a capable leader, he will not go wrong.
I am sure Siddique will give his best and cooperate with his principal to develop our school. I wish him all the best.

This is with reference to Imtiaz's comment. Last week I visited the college compound along with Nawas Khan after 25 years, and found the mango tree near the Agriculture Room gone missing. Once Nisthar (we call him Haniffa or Osi Rotti), he got caught to Mr. Tissa, plucking raw Mangoes. He greatly managed the situation to get him down from the tree without Nisthar getting panicked. I was talking about it with Nawas Khan, hope some of us can remember it. Today Mr. T. Weerasingha is no more, but those memories will not fade.
    Thanks Imtiaz.
